When the Lambent emerged, Stroud fully embraced being in combat and fought alongside Sgt. As the COG began to rebuild after their apparent victory over the Locust, Anya and Marcus grew closer and she began training to become a front-line Gear, while still serving as a controller. During Operation: Hollow Storm, she again guided Delta through their battles and escaped the Sinking of Jacinto. Stroud operated as Delta Squad's controller during the operation, helping them deploy the Lightmass Bomb.
Four years later, Stroud and Fenix were reunited when he was pardoned to participate in the Lightmass Offensive. Marcus Fenix was tried as a deserter during the battle while trying to rescue his father, Professor Adam Fenix, and sentenced to forty years in the Jacinto Maximum Security Prison. She was in participation of the Hammer of Dawn Strikes, in which Chairman Richard Prescott scorched 90% of Sera's surface outside the Jacinto Plateau to stop the Locust in 1 A.E.įollowing the Fall of Ephyra in 10 A.E., Stroud and the rest of the Coalition relocated from Ephyra to Jacinto. Anya continued to serve as a controller in the CIC during the Locust War. In 2 B.E., Stroud took part in the Battle of Aspho Fields, during which she witnessed the death of her mother. There, she met fellow soldier and future husband, Marcus Fenix. Instead, she became a communications officer and served in her mother's unit during the Pendulum Wars.
